Project Manager

 

Overview:

This position works in the Edgility Outcomes Office. The Project Manager will manage multi-functional aspects of Edgility’s Service and Technology implementations at client sites across the country. 

 

The pace in the healthcare sector is fast. There will be constant deadlines, and you’ll likely have to manage more than one project at a time. So, you’re going to have to juggle many responsibilities and interact with a wide variety of people to get everything done. But you will work alongside a great, passionate, and supportive team!

 

The candidate must be an experienced project manager and entrepreneurial in project management: dynamic, adaptive, and persistent.

 

This PM role will plan, coordinate, and manage activities between Edgility, the client, and partner vendors. The PM will identify issues, offer solutions, oversee matrix-structured teams, delegate tasks, and monitor progress. Communication with various departments, such as project teams, steering committees, and leadership, both internal and external, is paramount.

 

The candidate must be adept at working with complex and matrixed client organizations. Interaction with personnel from client IT departments, operations, clinical, finance, and facilities is typical. The PM will be proficient in communication, both written and verbal, and have strong relationship-building skills. 

 

  • The ideal candidates will have experience with large health systems or large multi-disciplinary hospitals.
  • Candidates will serve our Midwest, West Coast, and Southeast regions of the country.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel up to 40%. (Approximately twice per month for 3-4 days at a time, potentially more at the beginning of engagements.)
  • This job is a full-time, salaried, W-2 position.
  • At this time, we can consider only candidates authorized to work in the US.

 

Requirements:

PMP certified, preferred

5 to 10 years healthcare experience

Cleveland and Southern California candidates preferred.

 

The Edgility Outcomes Office is the client-facing division of our company. Led by the Chief Outcomes Officer, this group is responsible for client success. Its mission is to enable clients “to drive better health through smarter operations.” 

To ensure client success, this division engages in numerous activities, including identifying and designing new client processes, repairing, or improving sub-optimal processes, supporting change and transformation management; and with Edgility colleagues, implement Edgility’s proprietary software.
